UEK-30002.4GHz.Mode "S"Downconverter |
The UEK-3000 is a new 2.4GHz.Mode "S" downconverter from SSB Electronic. The UEK-3000 is available in either a 144MHz. or a 432MHz. IF in order to meet the operating demands of all satellite operators. Based upon our world class UEK-2000SAT downconverter, the UEK-3000 offers an even lower noise figure of <0.7dB and 30dB of conversion gain. There is absolutely no need to run a preamplifier with this downconverter. FEATURES: Mast-mounted - weatherproof housing with a RF tight tin plated box mounted inside. RF: 2400 - 2450MHz. "THE""PROTECTOR"
|
RF-POWER PROTECTOR Protect your Downconverter against reverse transmit power! Very often a 2 - m transceiver is used in combination with a
receive down converter. |
![]() |
|
| The power
protector absorbs up to 30 watts FM and up to 50 watts SSB allowing only
a small harmless amount of RF power to reach the IF-output port of your downconverter. The insertion loss in receive mode is close to nothing, typically 0.1 dB. As an added bonus, even high power transceivers can't destroy your converter - if you place the "PROTECTOR" directly in the coax cable after the transceiver. In transmit mode, the RF-Power Protector offers the transceiver a very high SWR which forces the VSWR Protection of the transceiver to switch down the power immediately! In addition, the "PROTECTOR" features a DC-BYPASS which allows you to continue to remotely power your downconverter through your transceiver or our DCC-12N via the coax cable CHECK OUT OUR NEW GRID DISH PAGES AND HELICAL ANTENNA PAGES! |
