ZS-1

Software defined receivers have been the state of the art for several years now.  The new Zeus ZS-1 offers a Software Defined Transceiver at the Direct Sampling Level.

The Zeus ZS-1 covers all the classic HF bands on transmit including the WARC bands. On receive, the Zeus cover all frequencies from 300 KHz. to 30.0 MHz.

In addition, the Zeus offers an output power of up to 15 W.

High quality band pass filters insure clean Tx signals.

A broad band spectrum display and as well as a simultaneous waterfall display inform the user about activity levels within a given band so no pile ups will go undetected.

The Zeus ZS-1 is connected to the PC via a USB 2.0 connection. In addition, a built in interface additionally allows operation via an IP address.

The rich and full function Zeus operating software written especially for the ZS-1 is also included.

The Zeus ZS-1 features:

  • Selectable AGC

  • Automatic Notch Filter

  • Bar Graph or Traditional S-Meter Display

  • Continously Varabile Filters for CW/SSB/AM

The software offers access to a wide variety of functions including extensive Tx EQ, compression, CW weight ratios, an integrated CW keyer including pre-stored message functions. Not only is type of key/paddle selection supported, CW generation via the keyboard can be selected.

Ham Radio Deluxe, SDR.com and SDR max 111 may be used in conjunction with the ZS-1.

The transmit output power is adjustable from 0 dBm up to 15 W within the amateur radio band. A great feature if using VHF/UHF transverters.

An output power monitor with additional displays is also included.

External Connections include:

Key socket for paddle or traditional morse keys

PTT

Socket for manual transmission activated via a foot switch

ALC + more
